It is made up of 1" squares of turquoise in a pale mint blue green shade with tons of light brown matrix running through it, accented with silver and 5/8" amethyst bears. It is 21 1/4" long, with the pendant hanging down an additional 2 1/2". The pendant itself measures about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". The silver accents 3 - 5mm beads with 3/4" melon shaped silver beads. It consists mainly of graduated flat square cut beads of Royston turquoise with a hint of silver and coral accents on the end. This is a cut you don't see very often anymore, a flat slice. The turquoise stacks together so nicely. The turquoise starts at 5mm and graduates to 11mm, and the silver beads are 6mm and the coral beads are about 4mm. The silver end cone is 3/4" long. This great turquoise is American Turquoise from the Royston mine in Nevada, and has great blue/green color with loads of brown matrix.   All silver is sterling silver, including the clasp. All stones are genuine. The coral is genuine, but has been dyed.</B><B>   </B><B>There is a 5 x 10mm tag of sterling silver that is stamped with a thunderbird, a signature from Thunderbird Creations.   The pictures do not do this lovely piece justice! Some of the stones may be slightly smaller but are all in the large category. The turquoise, of unknown origins, has been stabilized, and may have been color treated, but it is genuine turquoise.   The picture doesn't do this lovely piece justice! The turquoise beads have some wonderful color and texture and are very solid. This piece weighs about 6 ounces! This is not for the faint of heart, but a very bold and heavy piece.</B><B>   </B><B>The necklace was strung on 49 strand, sterling silver wire.
